Dr. Zachary Giesen completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University where he majored in Biology.  While at Stanford he earned All-American honors as a member of the varsity Wrestling team.

Zack received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences COMP-NW where he was on the Deans List all four years. He then moved out east where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowships at Dartmouth. During his training he received the Resident Excellence in Teaching award.

Dr. Giesen specializes in general and invasive cardiology and is board eligible in General Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear cardiology. He also has  an interest in sports cardiology.

Zack grew up in Southern Oregon where he attended North Valley High School and is excited to return to the Rogue Valley. When not with patients he is spending time with his wife, who is a Critical Care Physician, and their two very energetic daughters. Together they enjoy running, cycling, snowboarding, and rafting.
