Eric Pena, MD earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami in Florida and his medical degree from the University of South Florida. He served his internship, residency and fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, GA where he also served as chief medical resident.

He is board certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Pena has participated as a principal investigator in several research studies for the development of medical technology to serve cardiology patients.

He has lectured throughout the US on new ablation, pacemaker and defibrillator technology and has served as faculty at Heart Rhythm Society international meetings. Dr. Pena specializes in Cardiology and Electrophysiology; he performs the full spectrum of complex  ablations and device implantations.

He enjoys skiing, fishing, camping and mountain biking.
