Keval Patel, MD was born and raised in the western parts of India. He moved to the United States at the age of 17. He graduated with the highest honors in biochemistry and biology at Knox College. He completed his medical education at George Washington University in Washington, DC and moved to Saint Louis where he completed his internship, residency training and cardiovascular fellowship at St. Louis University and its associated Center for Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and he is board certified in Internal medicine as well as Cardiovascular Diseases and echocardiography.

Dr. Patel has been involved in multiple clinical trials at the forefront of cardiology and has published multiple book chapters and research papers on cardiovascular diseases. In addition to his passion for research and cutting edge technology, Dr. Patel is known to be a fierce advocate for his patients. He has also worked with the American College of Cardiology in its legislative efforts on health care reform.

In their free time, Dr. Patel and his wife enjoy travelling, playing golf, scuba diving, cooking and spending time with their family. Dr. Patel is conversant in five languages in addition to English.
