Dr. Malhotra completed medical school in New Delhi, India and subsequently moved to the United States to pursue further education. He finished his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts. A keen interest in performing coronary interventions lead him to pursue specialized training in Interventional Cardiology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, NY.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography and is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Furthermore, he is board eligible in Interventional Cardiology. He focuses on providing patient centered care across a wide range of cardiac diseases. The specialized training in interventional cardiology allows him to perform advanced procedures such as stenting for coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease. His special interests lie in interventions for complex coronary lesions.

In his spare time, he likes to go hiking and also enjoys cooking.
