      Dr. Beatriz Rivera Rodriguez<\/strong> is a board-certified cardiologist with a passion for providing comprehensive, personalized cardiovascular care across every stage of a patient\u2019s life. Her clinical and academic interests center on women\u2019s cardiovascular health, preventive cardiology, sports cardiology, and cardio-oncology<\/strong>, with a particular interest in caring for patients with breast cancer.<\/p>\n

      Dr. Rivera Rodriguez is especially passionate about understanding how cardiovascular disease uniquely affects women and promoting early prevention and risk-factor modification to help patients maintain long-term heart health. She is also interested in the intersection of cardiovascular health and exercise, helping active individuals safely pursue their athletic goals. In cardio-oncology<\/strong>, she focuses on the cardiovascular care of patients before, during, and after cancer treatment, with a particular interest in breast cancer. Her academic work includes research on cardiovascular imaging in breast cancer and gynecologic malignancies, as well as cardiovascular complications associated with cancer therapies.<\/p>\n

      Originally from the Dominican Republic<\/strong>, Dr. Rivera Rodriguez completed her medical degree at Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Santo Domingo, graduating Magna Cum Laude<\/em> in the top 10% of her class. She subsequently completed her Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Miami\/Jackson Memorial Hospital. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology<\/strong>. Throughout her training, she has been actively involved in research, medical education, mentorship, and community cardiovascular health initiatives. Her academic work has been recognized with several honors, including the Caribbean Cardiac Society Charles Denbow Young Clinician Award<\/strong>, an American College of Physicians Best Resident Clinical Vignette Poster Award<\/strong>, and recognition for her research presentations at Miami Valves.<\/p>\n

      Dr. Rivera Rodriguez believes in building meaningful relationships with her patients and empowering them with the knowledge and tools needed to take an active role in their cardiovascular health. Her goal is to combine evidence-based medicine with compassionate, individualized care to help her patients live healthier, more active lives.<\/p>\n

      Outside of medicine, Dr. Rivera Rodriguez enjoys trail running, hiking, traveling, and reading novels<\/strong>. She especially loves spending time outdoors and sharing adventures with her partner and her dog, Nana, a Belgian Malinois full of energy who keeps life interesting<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n<\/div>
